Artistic Delicate Silver Axolotl Pendant

Taxco silver Axolotl is a delicate and very detailed small piece. Many of you might not know what an AXOLOTL is. This cute, smiling little creature is a Mexican amphibian, that is in danger of extinction. A creature similar to a Salamander but cuter. You should look for some images in Google, so you can understand what I mean :)

It is a very well-known creature in Mexico. It is related to pre-Hispanic times, where the ancient cultures like the Aztecs, believed that this amphibian was the God of fire and lightning, Xolotl. 

This specific silver pendant is very artistic with lots of details that require a lot of work and time to make. It is also substantial in weight for its size, with a total of 6.8 grams.
